It feels like a maternity ward at the shop this week, last count we have six Womb lounge chairs and a Womb Settee all being restored and upholstered.
Hands down the brightest one of the bunch is this leather copper tone example.
We just had to shoot it in sunlight.
Not to say that this one isn’t kinda mental as well.

The client described the old fabric as dry cat tongue (she left out the dead!!)
All foam was removed, legs stripped and refinished
The body was upholstered in Kvadrat fabric. End result is perfect.

Personally I think you would have to go along way before you find a chair as sexy as the 71.These ones came through our door all crunchy and very smelly! We stripped everything off and re-built the foam and then upholstered in Knoll “Journey”
